And on this day is Christmas, the day of Christ, as I find myself typing this blog post.  And according to that Gregorian calendar on the wall, December 24th, Christmas Eve, marks the last day of our East Village Stand Holiday Market as well as a lot of other holiday markets in the New York City area.  And so that holiday market of ours, formerly The Stand on 7th Street, has ended and come to pass to where I post a few more photos and videos of that East Village Stand Holiday Market that find themselves posted above. And that holiday market seemed as if it was a 7th Street, East Village event to where all of the six vendors at the Holiday Market and everyone that came to the Holiday Market in the dead of winter lived on 7th Street. The Stand space is closed now, and whether or not it opens again in the warmer weather or beyond remains to be seen.  And again that facebook event invite for this event read something like:

Join us for our East Village Stand Holiday Market November 23 - December 24 on the corner of 7th Street and Ave C, East Village, NYC.

Opening Reception & Performances: Friday, November 23, 6-8pm. A shakuhachi zen flute performance by Till Behler

Participating vendors at the East Village Stand Holiday Market include:

Bottleworks, bottle lamps, pendant lights and glassware by Joe Harrigon

One of a kind handmade picture frames by Anne Edris

Taconic Trading Company spiced pepitas and Applewood smoked sea salt

eulenspiegelchocolatelab cookies and chocolates

Black Lives Matter holiday themed jewelry and ornaments by Carla Cubit

and more

The East Village Stand Holiday Market is a 10ft x 4ft space, originally a storage space on the corner of 7th Street & Ave C in East Village, NYC. It allows us to use the front and entire corner outside of the stand for performances, dinner parties, poetry and concerts.

Customers can purchase handmade, local, artisan and vintage gifts for your holiday shopping.
Don't miss visiting before it closes for the season

Advent Cookie Day At East Village Stand Holiday Market

And as far as I know, the Advent calendar started yesterday and Christmas, also knows as Jesus's birthday, is 22 days away as I type this blog post.  And as I have found myself sitting at the East Village Stand Holiday Market the past week since it started, staring at Zum Shneider's across the street all day, I thought to attempt to have an Advent Cookie Day at the holiday market as an attempted part of their Adventsingen / Christmas Caroling on Six Days in December event on all four Sundays leading up to Christmas at their Bavarian Bierhaus that always seems to be way super crowded in hopes that some of those Christmas Carolers would find their way across the street for some of those holiday market Advent cookies from those Advent cookies signs that were placed in the windows and on the sidewalk in some of those photos that find themselves posted above.  Well in all blogger honesty, none of the Zum Schneider Christmas Carolers really made it our way, though it was fun listening to the sounds of their Bavarian fun from across the street. Well those eulenspiegelchocolatelab or I guess they are called Kaos Cookie Club cookies are still here at our holiday market along with lots of other vendor items until December 24th when our holiday market closes for the season. And according to that New York Post article, we are not exactly getting rich while we are here, though we love being there just to see old friends. Please join us for our East Village Stand Holiday Market November 23 - December 24 on the corner of 7th Street and Ave C, East Village, NYC. We hope to see you then. Have a great Advent Cookie Day and more.
